Mr and Mrs.Perez and their two children had lived in their home for a decade when they fell behind in the payments after Mr. Perez became unemployed. 
They were not offered the HAMP specifically for those unemployed. 

Freddie Mac as the investor had the final nod on a loan modification but declined to make their home affordable. Now they want to evict the family. The Perez Family is determined to stay and want their home turned over to a community land trust.
